Closing Reception on Saturday March 22nd at 2PM

Cheymore Gallery is happy to present 'Ether ^ Object'  Natalie Beall, Grayson Cox and Sacha Ingber, on view from January 25 until March 22, 2025, with an opening reception for the artists Saturday, January 25 from 4pm- 6pm. 

Grayson Cox was invited to curate a show at a time when he was reflecting on where ideas come from and how to create space for them. Almost instantly, Natalie Beall and Sacha Ingber came to mind because of their ability to create objects that are referential: holding symbols, dreams, visions, and memories. Cox chose not to direct their contributions but rather allowed them to take the lead. ‘Ether ^ Object’ contains images that sit on the edge of one’s understanding that can only be seen if made. These are the ideas that artists chase to replicate in the studio. Beall, Cox and Ingber create works that exist between sign and window, object and image, thought and emotion.
