“Having a moment with you, having a moment with your phone”, 2011,Wood, enamel, fabric, furniture foam, bleach and phone chargers

I saw a couple hugging on the subway platform one day. A man hugging a woman very earnestly while she looked at her phone behind his head. It inspired this sculpture that is also based on a victorian era chair in the American wing of the collection at the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
